About Us
Brethren Community Ministries is sharing God’s love with the whole person in the context of family, neighborhood, and church. The Bible does not separate life into spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual, business, and social areas. God loves the whole person, seeking to bring shalom (peace) to all areas of life.
Sharing God’s love in action is what BCM is all about
Each ministry has a specific focus, but also seeks to share God’s love and peace by making referrals to meet other felt needs and affirming each person’s worth. Opportunities, which God provides in any of the ministries, are used to share problem solving, planning, and conflict resolution skills. Volunteers and staff are ready and willing to pray and share faith as the Spirit leads. Each volunteer and staff person seeks to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit in their relationships.
